[Cameco, Areva, 9 February] Canada's uranium production of 11,632 tonnes U3O8 (9863 tU) in 2006 was 15% lower than that in 2005. The Cameco's McArthur River mine produced 8492 tonnes U3O8 (7200 tU), while its Rabbit Lake mine produced 2326 tonnes U3O8 (1972 tU). Areva's McClean Lake mine produced 814 tonnes U3O8 (690 tU).
